Indian Institute of Technology, Powai
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay was established in 1958 with assistance from UNESCO and the Soviet Union. IIT Bombay is an autonomous institution located in Powai, Mumbai. The institute is the second oldest campus of the Indian Institutes of Technology and largest University in the state of Maharashtra. According to a report, IIT Bombay has been ranked third best institute of Science and Technology in Asia.
