Tripura Institute of Technology is located at Narsingarh in Agartala (West Tripura district) of Tripura. Set up in the year 2007, TIT Tripura is a premier institute of engineering and technical education in the city of Agartala. Tripura Institute of Technology (erstwhile Polytechnic Institute, Narsingarh) is affiliated to Tripura University.

TIT is a Co-educational Government Institute functioning under the supervision of Department of Higher Education, Government of Tripura. Tripura Institute of Technology offers engineering courses at degree and diploma level. All the courses offered at the institute are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute is well equipped with all the state of art facilities.
